XR Readiness Check

Is your device and browser ready for Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest and WebXR? We check WebXR & WebGPU support, your display refresh rate and sustained frame rate — and flag the bottleneck.

Refresh rate and FPS are measured live in your browser and reflect this tab, not a headset session. WebXR support depends on the browser and connected hardware.

🥽 Why 90Hz matters

For immersive XR, motion-to-photon latency must stay under ~20ms or it causes nausea. A 60Hz display can't deliver comfortable immersive XR — 90Hz+ is the comfort floor.

🧩 What we check

  • WebXR immersive-VR / AR support
  • WebGPU (required for modern XR rendering)
  • Display refresh rate (rAF timing)
  • Sustained frame rate under animation load

📌 Notes

Desktop browsers report VR support only with a headset connected. The refresh-rate and FPS checks still tell you whether your display and GPU meet the comfort bar.
